movie recommendations (filmsister)
Since a lot of you liked the book recommendations I'm here to tell you about my fav movies, I have a letterbox by the way if you want to check it out: hiholahello. I love cinema so I'll probably do another one of this very with another 4 movies very soon.
1. No is yes: A short film about two goth teenagers who met their fav musician ever. They see themselves surrounded by sex, drugs and death. All the characters are fucking amazing, everyone has a special touch and style. The best thing of the movie is the style, contrasts from sad and dark streets at night from colorful and psychedelic scenes, when I say this movie is visually insane I mean visually INSANE. It has a beautiful angel frame (if you watched the movie you know what I'm talking about) just watch it you won't regret. It's a little hard to find but if you go into the letterbox reviews of this movie you will find the link to watch it full online and free. link: vimeo.com/80128793, it didn't ask me any password but apparently it's private, the password is: noisyes. I wouldn't recommend for very young viewers, at least (+14)
2.Trainspotting: I watched this without knowing what the fuck was gonna happen and I think is the best you can do. A group of heroine addicts in London in the 90s, with incredible soundtrack. Just watch the trailer of the movie, the toilet scene one, and will realise how good (and grotesque) this film is. IMPORTANT: this movies is ver explicit (scenes of people doing heroine, an horrible toilet scene that is the most gross thing i hsve ever seen etc) so if you are very sensible or too young don't watch it please.
3.Tesis: A Spanish movie let's go (live, love, laugh Spanish cinema) Angela, a film student in Madrid is working on her tesis and ends up finding some movies where a group of mysterious persons kill others and film it. I love the cast and the three main characters are so good. If you are only gonna watch one of the movies in this list it has to be this one. The plot is kinda hard to explain, it's terror, mystery and romance. JUST WATCH IT.
4.Ghost world: Date idea: We watch this movie and I pause every sentence to explain you how it's the most perfect coming of age script to ever be written, a perfect balance between emotion and peak comedy, and how I have never related so much to any character as I do to the three principles because they portrait perfectly the feeling of getting older as a loser and the search of self-love and romance (while I intensely cry/laugh)
